Our Community Centre is available for rentals for weddings, Jack n' Jill's, birthdays, family reunions, etc.! We have a beautiful location that is fully equipped for any event!
Our Community Centre offers the following:
Large occupancy ranging from 178 (seated) to 611 (standing room only) depending on use
Plenty of parking available
Bar area in hall
Commercial kitchen including dishes and serving ware
Chairs and tables at no extra cost
Property large enough to accommodate an outdoor ceremony
Large bluetooth speaker and microphone available for an extra charge
Once approved, what you will need to do on your end:
Apply for a liquor licence for your event: https://www.agco.ca/en/alcohol/apply-liquor-sales-licence
Acquire event insurance and provide us with your Certificate of Insurance with Joyland Beach Association named as an additionally insured: https://www.palcanada.com/index.php/en-us/ or talk to your insurance provider
All event organizers are responsible for the complete set up and takedown of their event, including but not limited to:
Setting up and taking down all chairs and tables
Cleaning kitchen and bar area if used and restoring the premises to its original condition.

1. Hall closes at 1:30 am.
2. The renter is responsible for leaving the hall and the surrounding premises as it was found. The cleaning fee is for mopping floors, vacuuming cleaning toilets, etc. A checklist below outlines responsibilities in more detail. Anything above and beyond a regular clean will be charged accordingly and deducted from your deposit. Please see below for complete details.
3. Any damages to the building or property during the rented time frame are solely
the responsibility of the renter. This includes using adhesives to walls/hanging hooks, etc. which is not permitted. Damage Deposits will be charged accordingly to fix any damage to walls.
4. If Liquor is being served the AGCO License and Event Insurance must be
presented to the JBA 7 days prior to your event.
5. Hall rental fee and security deposit must be paid 30 days prior to your event.
6. The hall is a non-smoking facility. Please use the Butt bin provided and ensure no cigarette butts are left on the grounds. Cleaning/damage deposit will be charged accordingly otherwise.
7. All activities must be under the immediate control and supervision of a competent and trustworthy adult who will personally supervise the facility.
8. No pets
9. Joyland Beach Association will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or
damaged property or injuries.
10. Doors must remain shut during events to maintain internal temperatures (heat/air con).
11. Confetti, glitter, sparkles, etc. are prohibited.
