Welcome to the Joyland Beach Community Centre and Joyland Beach Association information site. This is another way for us to stay connected with our members. Here you will find information about community events, community life, updates of Annual General Meeting and Board meetings and information that affects our residents. Joyland Beach is such a great place to live and our sense of community is a large part of that. We hope you enjoy your time with us.

The Joyland Beach Association is a volunteer-run nonprofit corporation that started in 1960 to promote the best interests of the Joyland Beach community and to oversee the communal properties of the Joyland Beach community which is located on Lake Simcoe just outside of McRae Provincial Park. . Our properties include the Joyland Beach Community Centre, private beach with boat launch, baseball diamond and paved basketball court as well as others. The Joyland Beach Association facilitates and encourages growth in our community spirit and resources and enhances the quality of life for residents, cottagers and visitors alike.

We Have A Great Story

Joyland Beach was created by Earl and Ethel Joyce. One of their daughters still lives in Joyland Beach and she and her husband shared their story. They bought the property, that begins with homes on Bayview Avenue and Woodland Drive to the border of the McRae Provincial Park, from the Middleton Brothers in 1948.
